Movie Screening: The Librarians

Enjoy a free screening of documentary film The Librarians, hosted by the Oceanside Public Library and Indie Lens Pop-Up. Throughout the film, you’ll meet librarians across the U.S. examining how book review policies are shaping their communities.

After the screening Library Director of Commerce Public Library, Sonia Bautista, will host an engaging and interactive discussion and Q&A about censorship and the broader implications for libraries and intellectual freedom. Attendees will receive a free book to take home!

For Ages 13+. Movie will be shown in Lecture Room 3601 and free parking is available in Lot 3B.
