Movie Premiere: MMR IIII from San Antonio to Maruata

A documentary about a three-day, 1,300-mile adventure motorcycle race from Texas to Maruata, Michoacán. Across the border, through dusty towns, over mountain roads, and down to the Pacific coast.

This year’s route leads to Maruata, a remote surf town on the coast of Michoacán and within one of Mexico’s most under-recognized mezcal-producing regions. The destination is striking, but the film is about more than the finish line. It’s about what the road asks of the people on it: resourcefulness, adaptability, instinct, and the willingness to keep moving through the unknown.
