Certainly nothing in 2025 compared to the world of 1967 Southern California. ☀️An older, married woman seduces a young man. 💋 He in turn falls for her daughter, disrupting said daughters’ anticipated engagement & life with her intended. Everyday soapy-drama content. 🤷🏼♀️ But, appearances can be deceiving. 👀👀👀
While directing Robert Redford in the Broadway production of Barefoot in the Park, Mike Nichols (Who’s Afraid of Viriginia Woolf, Silkwood, The Birdcage, Working Girl, Heartburn, Postcards from the Edge, Primary Colors, Carnal Knowledge...so many more) signed on to direct. 🎬
THIS FILM changed the landscape of cinema. Actually, it changed the bones of how a film is green-lit, built, cast, & executed. 💥💥
