After the film, Dr. Toivo Tänavsoo - co-founder of the cancer treatment foundation "Kingitud Elu" - will introduce his new book "Arstitudengpäevik".
The book is an autobiographical story about how Toivo, at the age of 37, first had the idea to study medicine and make that idea a reality.
If you would like to purchase a book on site, please pay in cash. The number of books available on the movie night is limited.
Information about the book here https://pilgrim.ee/en/product/arstitudengipaevik/
The film "Good People" reminds us how fragile life is and how much it means when someone lends a helping hand. In the film, people from very different life experiences who are involved in the Hille Tänavsuu Cancer Foundation Gifted Life talk about their experiences. Among them are both helpers and those in need; both people who are facing a very serious illness, and those who help on a daily basis: donors, volunteers and collectors.
The personal, beautiful and touching story is not told in a depressing way, but in a hopeful way, highlighting how important it is for us all to help and support each other in difficult times.
The movie night is free, but donations are welcome!
RSVP - [email protected].
