Movie Night & Night Market

We’re kicking off our 2025 partnership with Chatham County Parks and Recreation with a Movie Night and Night Market. This event is FULL of fun activities and cultural learning.It is FREE to attend. We’ll also have FREE ACTIVITIES for all ages.At 4PM, the open-fire cooking demonstration begins.
Learn how to cook chicken & dumplings, fresh bread and cobbler over an open fire.At 5PM, enjoy story by performance poet, K. Harmen; immediately followed by a traditional African Dance lesson taught by Stephanie Davis. No experience necessary to participate.The Night Market and Food Trucks will be available throughout the event.Enjoy The Princess and the Frog on the Big Screen.
The movie will begin as soon as it gets dark.
FREE Popcorn will be provided during the movie.Come early and enjoy the activities before the movie begins.
