Movie Loft presents 'Stonebrook'

Movie Loft mobs into the semester at Shadowbox Studio with a screening of the 1999 thriller drama 'Stonebrook'! Erik (Brad Rowe) and his "nerdy hacker" roommate Cornelius (Seth Green) are students at the Ivy-League-ish school Stonebrook. The two find themselves in trouble when the cons they are running to secure tuition funds run afoul of the local syndicate.
'Stonebrook' was a very local production, filmed across Duke's campus and the surrounding Durham and Orange county communities. Directed by UNC grad Byron Thompson, many of the production duties of the "very large low budget movie" were handled by his own family. Many of the crew members were locals too, including Shadowbox's very own Alex Maness!
