Movie Loft revs into August at Shadowbox Studio with a screening of the 1979 Canadian drag racing action drama 'Fast Company'! From no less than David Cronenberg comes this picture of life in the REALLY fast lane!
Drag racing legend Lonnie 'Lucky Man' Johnson (William Smith) wows 'em from Alberta to Manitoba but is being strung up by his corrupt manager Phil Adamson (John Saxon!). Rivals, girlfriends, apprentices and pit crew goons populate this tale of burning rubber, extracurricular applications of motor oil and life on the road. With tons of high-quality drag racing footage, plus the phenomenal Claudia Jennings and some fine country butt-rock!
