Santa Rosa County Parks and Recreation is bringing the big screen outdoors with the launch of its new Movie in the Parks program. Families and residents of all ages are invited to enjoy free, family-friendly movie nights under the stars at community parks across the county.The third event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 6 p.m., featuring Polar Express at Navarre Park, 8513 Navarre Parkway in Navarre.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for a fun-filled evening of entertainment. Local food truck vendors will be on-site, and movies will be shown on a large outdoor screen, creating a theater-like experience in the heart of Santa Rosa County’s beloved parks. Visitors are responsible for purchases from food trucks.
