Alignment comes to life with this dynamic workshop lead by Stars In Motion founder Jill Morris.
Using our proprioception/neuroception (and all the related sub-senses), we will explore basic body positions and their connection to how movement feels. We will discover ways we can bring deeper awareness, feeling, and connection between mind and body simply by understanding the parts of us and how they move.
This movement is not bound by the edge of a mat, but is allowed to take up space. We will use a wall, the ground, and a chair. We can work in bare feet, however, socks are recommended for some movements.
In this class, we will prove that noticing leads to awareness; awareness leads to knowing; knowing leads change if change is required or desired. Our SIMfam has heard that many times and now we get to put those words to action.
Movement Lab will enable exploration and ignite creativity. And that’s good stuff!
