Join Ubuntu's co-owner, Jen Emch for a restorative 60-minute session exploring how we can use gentle, intentional, mindful movement to support our nervous systems and release stored stress. In our fast-paced world, it is easy to become disconnected from our physical selves, often leaving us feeling anxious, numb, or overwhelmed. This class offers a safe, welcoming space to reconnect. You do not need to be a dancer or have any prior movement experience to participate. It is a gentle, trauma-informed exploration of how we can use breath, grounding, and mindful presence to process emotions and regulate our bodies. Designed for ALL bodies and comfort levels, this practice is entirely self-guided, meaning you are always in control of how you move, and there is no "right" or "wrong" way to participate.
Whether you choose to move expansively, sway gently in a chair, or simply observe in stillness, you will be supported in honoring what your body needs in the present moment. You will leave with practical, body-based tools to soothe stress, build resilience, and foster a deeper mind-body connection. No experience is necessary; just bring your curiosity and a willingness to tune in.
