Move. Release. Restore. Through Movement, Art & Creativity
About this Event
Take a break from the demands of everyday life.
Stress, pressure and busy routines can leave us feeling disconnected, from our emotions, our creativity and ourselves.
Move. Release. Restore. is a unique two-hour therapeutic workshop that combines movement and creative art making to help you slow down, reconnect and explore your emotions in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.
No artistic or dance experience is needed. There are no performances, no expectations and no judgement, just space to move, create, reflect and breathe.
Whether you're looking to reduce stress, reconnect with your creativity or simply make time for yourself, this workshop offers an opportunity to reset both body and mind.
What You'll Experience
Throughout the session you'll be gently guided through a series of movement and creative art activities designed to help you:
· Reduce stress and tension
· Express emotions in new and meaningful ways
· Explore creativity without pressure or expectation
· Develop greater self-awareness
· Feel calmer, lighter and more grounded
· Connect with others in a supportive environment
Using movement alongside visual creative practice allows participants to explore thoughts and feelings through both the body and artistic expression, often uncovering insights that words alone cannot access.
Our Approach
This workshop integrates evidence-informed therapeutic approaches from dance, movement and art to create a holistic experience that supports wellbeing.
You'll explore:
· Guided therapeutic movement
· Creative visual art-making
· Gentle reflective exercises
· Emotional expression through movement and creativity
· Individual exploration and shared reflection
The focus isn't on producing artwork or learning choreography, it's about using creativity as a pathway towards greater emotional awareness, self-expression and personal wellbeing.
Everything is guided at your own pace.
