Synopsis
Meet Dr. Eureka, a delightfully eccentric scientist surrounded by bubbling test tubes and half-finished inventions. Hidden in her laboratory is her greatest treasure: The Great Book of Women Scientists, filled with the extraordinary stories of brilliant women from Spain and Latin America.
But when she opens it one day… every page is blank! Someone has erased these pioneering women from history.
There’s only one way to save them: travel through time!
Young adventurers are invited to join Dr. Eureka on an unforgettable interactive journey, solving puzzles, tackling exciting challenges, and uncovering the inspiring stories of trailblazers such as Trinidad Arroyo, Elisa Soriano, Margarita Salas, Francia Márquez, Márcia Cristina Barbosa, and María del Pilar Carreón.
A magical blend of theatre, storytelling, and interactive play, this family-friendly show celebrates curiosity, courage, and discovery while reminding us of one simple truth:
Curiosity has no gender, and imagination can take anyone anywhere.
Sinopsis:
FesTeLõn – The Festival of Spanish Theatre in London – is an independent project that promotes cultural exchange between Spanish theatre companies and theatre lovers in London. Since its launch in 2013, the festival has brought professional and critically acclaimed theatre companies from Spain to perform in London every year, offering them the chance to connect with new audiences and share their work on an international stage.
To ensure everyone feels welcome – even if you don’t speak the language – all performances are translated into English using a simultaneous surtitling system, allowing non-Spanish-speakers to fully enjoy and engage with the shows.
Festelõn also offers a range of offstage events as part of its programme. For example, every production is followed by a Q&A session, giving the audience the opportunity to engage directly with artists to gain a deeper insight into their work. Over the years, FesTeLõn has worked to broaden its cultural offer to encourage audience participation. Through workshops, talks and discussions led by some of the most respected names in Spanish theatre, our audiences have been able to engage with both classical and contemporary works – and other creative disciplines – in a truly enriching way.
Thanks to the generous support of our friends, partners, and guest artists, we’ve been able to present a wide range of events – and we look forward to expanding the programme even further. Stay tuned for updates and join us in celebrating the richness of Spanish theatre in London!
