Move Move Collaborative 2026
About this Event
The Move Move Collaborative will gather for the tenth time this year.
For the last ten years, a cohort of movement artists, dancers, actors, and performers of all kinds has come together to create a performance in the least hierarchical manner they can. This year, we are excited to be sharing our work at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center.
This year's cohort includes contributions from Sheila Gaskins, Talbolt Johnson, Emmett Wilson, SIFU SUN, Steph Wallace, Oreolúwa Akinsanmi, Bao Nguyen, Noelle Tolbert, Peter Redgrave, slowdanger, Mercury Swift, Luciana Arias, Náviin Hásanamë, and Sabastian Wilson. We work together for eight days to build connections between our practices and create a score for performance. Then, we share it!
We welcome Georgia Beatty, Rachel Beetz, Jake Freeman, Jamal Moore, and Dr. Thomas Stanley to spontaneously compose a score of live music.
Please come and support this unique combination of community offering and experimental performance.
