Mouse Taxidermy Workshop

Welcome to class!

This is a beginner level mammal taxidermy class, no experience needed! We'll be working with a taxidermy classic - the domestic mouse.

This is a hands-on experience. Prepared skins will be provided, but instruction on how to skin at home will be given. We'll be making wrapped forms, sculpting details, sewing, and doing finish work. The day will be split into two main working sessions with a lunch break in between. Small snacks will be provided, and you will be able to purchase drinks at the venue.

At the end, you'll leave class with your finished taxidermy mount, and a zine going over the ideas we discussed in class! All supplies will be provided.

All students must be over the age of 18, given the nature of the class.

By signing up for this class, you recognize the risks inherently associated with working with sharp objects and other tools, and will not hold Dead Frog Dreams or the venue liable for harm.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made later than one week before class.
