Summers will bring to life stories from our past, sharing information about mourning rituals and superstitions, burial practices, monument makers, famous McLean County funerals, and lead reflective discussions on how we keep the memory of those who have passed alive.
This program is being held in conjunction with our current display Mourning in McLean: The Story of Death, Grieving, and Funerary Customs in McLean County, which will be up through November 21, 2025.
Mourning in McLean is made possible through the support of our presenting sponsor Pontiac Granite Co., with major support from East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, and additional contributions provided by Evergreen Memorial Cemetery and Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home.
