Hurricane Island Outward Bound is thrilled to announce an exciting event this fall to help raise funds for our scholarships and programming!
On September 29th, we’re bringing Mountainfilm on Tour to Portland, Maine, and we’re inviting you to join us for an afternoon of culturally rich, adventure-packed, and inspiring documentary films curated from the prestigious Mountainfilm festival, held in Telluride, Colorado for the past 40 years.
Join us as we celebrate the Indomitable Spirit within us all through the inspiring story of our guest speaker, Tania Aebi, and a collection of short films that tells the stories of those who did not give up, back down, or let their challenges define them.
Featured Speaker:
Tania Aebi, author of 'Maiden Voyage', and the renowned sailor who completed a solo circumnavigation of the globe at the age of 18.
