Earlier this year, the Wright’s Funeral Parlor family volunteered our time to help clean up a local cemetery and we were humbled by how many people expressed interest in joining us next time. Now’s your chance to give back!
On Saturday, November 8, we are hosting a clean-up day at Mountain View Cemetery (across from Tivy's Antler Stadium). We invite anyone who can to volunteer alongside us. Trash bags and bottled water will be provided; feel free to bring your own gloves and gardening tools if you’d like to use them. Our main goal is to clear away trash and debris around the plots while being mindful not to disturb the site or any memorial items left by loved ones.
Whether you can stay for all four hours or just part of the day, your help makes a difference. No registration is needed—just show up! For questions, call us at 830.895.3323.
As a special tribute, we will also be placing American flags on veterans’ graves in honor of Veterans Day the following week.
