The Capitol Theatre Center presents "MOUNTAIN MUSIC & MOONSHINE 2027"

Get ready for some bluegrass music to one heck of a musical rodeo at our 2027 MOUNTAIN MUSIC & MOONSHINE event! We had to bring this event back for our 100th anniversary with its staple place in Capitol Theatre show history.
Headlining this year is APPALACHIAN ROAD SHOW! Formed in 2018, the band is one of the modern bluegrass and Americana music's most compelling and authentic voices! Built around a shared commitment to preserving and celebrating the culture, stories, and spirit of Appalachia, Appalachian Road Show combines elite musicianship, powerful songwriting, soaring harmonies, and deeply-rooted storytelling into an unforgettable live experience.
Appalachian Road Show presents a musical journey exploring themes of faith, hardship, family, labor, love, loss, war, resilience, and heritage through songs that are timeless, human, and profoundly American. Featuring Grammy-nominated Banjoist Barry Abernathy (who also does vocals), GRAMMY-winning producer and recording artist Jim VanCleve (fiddle, vocals), Darrell Webb (mandolin, vocals), Zeb Snyder (guitar, vocals), and Jeff Partin (bass, dobro, vocals). Members of the band have also worked with artists such as Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, Rhonda Vincent, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lonesome River Band, and so many more, which just further proves their talent and experience in the music industry. It's going to be one foot-stompin' good night!
Whiskey, bourbon, beer, wine, and moonshine will be available starting when the doors open at 6pm, as well as non-alcoholic drinks and concessions. Enjoy your drinks and snacks throughout the night as you either sit back and relax, or get up and dance to this banjo-picking concert made for the genre’s history books!
