Mount Auburn's Nighthawks

The fall migration of the Common Nighthawk is a predictable and visible phenomenon. Over the years Bob Stymeist has observed hundreds of nighthawks from the Tower and now you can, too.

We’ll meet at Asa Gray Garden (Lawn Avenue Circle) and caravan to Washington Tower. Bring Binoculars and a flashlight. Registration required.

Accessibility Note: This event takes place at the top of Washington Tower. There are 96 steps to the top and an additional 12 steps from Mountain Ave to the base of the tower. Handrails available.
