Back by overwhelming demand, Motown & Beyond returns for another unforgettable night of soul, rhythm, and cultural fusion. After the success of the first edition, the community asked for more — and we’re bringing it back bigger, deeper, and groovier.

Led by percussionist, producer, and creative visionary Yakou N’Guessan, this show reimagines the timeless Motown sound through the colors of jazz fusion, world music, and modern soul. Expect powerful vocals, rich arrangements, and a high‑energy performance that celebrates both legacy and innovation.

🔥 Opening Act: Alianca Ensemble

We’re excited to welcome Alianca Ensemble, a dynamic group made up entirely of Kennesaw State University jazz performance graduates. Their sound blends jazz, funk, soul, rock, and Latin influences, creating a vibrant and eclectic set that sets the perfect tone for the night.

Their repertoire moves effortlessly from jazz standards and pop favorites to original compositions — a lively, fresh musical journey that leaves audiences wanting more.
