Motor City Mini Acres Academy

Welcome to Motor City Mini Acres Academy, Home of the MooCrew where kids can unplug, get messy, learn something new, and experience real hands-on farm life in a safe and exciting environment. Our Saturday farm camp is designed for children ages 6–11 and features two age-based groups so activities can be tailored to each child’s age and confidence level. Campers ages 6–8 will focus on interactive play, animal care basics, simple crafts, and guided hands-on learning, while ages 9–11 will enjoy more independence, leadership-style activities, deeper animal education, and advanced farm tasks. Throughout the day, both groups rotate through engaging stations including mini Highland cow grooming, donkey interactions, feeding experiences, farm games, crafts, and educational lessons.

Our small group format allows campers to build confidence around animals while making friends and creating unforgettable memories on the farm. Children will learn responsibility, teamwork, kindness toward animals, and basic farm skills through fun, age-appropriate experiences that keep them active and engaged. Every camp day is designed to balance learning, movement, creativity, and plenty of cuddle time with our famous mini Highlands and farm friends. Campers can expect special themed activities, take-home crafts, photo opportunities, snacks, and lots of “core memory” moments throughout the morning. At Motor City Mini Acres Academy, we believe the best learning happens when kids can explore, laugh, get dirty, and truly connect with animals and nature.
