4th Annual Darts TournamentGeneral Motors Oshawa started in 1918, and at one time, it employed over 23,000 employees. This is why Oshawa was always known as the city that motivated Canada.
The Motor City Dart Tournament in Oshawa was first held in 1975, and it was a yearly event until around the mid-2000s.
I remember going each year to Donovan Arena and seeing some great darts players who came from all over North America and even Europe.
The Motor City Classic Darts Event is inspired by its predecessor, the original Motor City Open Dart Tournament.
Welcome to the Motor City Classic Darts Event.
The Motor City Classic will be the home of the OMS Cup.
The OMS Cup is sponsored by Ontario Motor Sales Chevrolet & Cadillac in Oshawa. OMS has joined up with The Motor City Classic for this annual Darts Event to bring you the Ladies Singles OMS Cup and the Men's Singles OMS Cup.
The OMS Cups (Men's & Ladies) will be displayed at Ontario Motor Sales in Oshawa.
Singles winners and Runner-Ups will also receive a plaque for their success in the tournament.
The OMS Cup Events will be Singles Double Elimination. This means, if you win you move on. If you lose you have another chance to win the title.
There will also be the NDFC Ranked Singles Events.
