motionball Marathon of Sport Kelowna

motionball’s Marathon of Sport returns to Kelowna on Saturday, September 19, 2026, bringing together community teams and Special Olympics BC – Kelowna athletes for a full day of inclusive sport, fundraising and fun.

Presented by Kelowna Toyota, the event is expected to welcome more than 40 teams and over 60 local Special Olympics athletes as Kelowna aims to host its largest Marathon of Sport yet and raise $175,000 in support of the Special Olympics movement.

Participants will compete in a variety of sports and activities alongside Special Olympics athletes. The day will also include breakfast, lunch, an event T-shirt and ball cap, a live DJ, raffles, prizes, team awards, fundraising awards and more.

Registration is already more than 75 percent sold out. Teams and individual participants are encouraged to register early at motionball.com/kelowna.

No athletic experience is required. Just bring your team spirit and get ready for one of Kelowna’s most inclusive and energetic community events of the year.
