Youth ages 5 to 14 are invited to the Mother’s Day Container Workshop for Youth held on Saturday, May 4, 10am-12pm, at the Penn State Extension office in Carlisle. Make and take home a colorful container of flowers and herbs for Mother's Day, May 12!
Join the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County to learn how to plant and care for your container of annuals and herbs, make a decoration to brighten your container, and make a special card. The workshop will be held at the Penn State Extension office located at 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. Come any time during workshop hours. A parent or guardian must be present with the youth registrant during the workshop.
The registration fee is $10 per youth and includes the container, soil, plants, and supplies. Walk-ins will be accepted if space is available.
