Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! This day is for you. Get out of the house and unwind in the great outdoors by fishing or hiking at Monee Reservoir. Make sure to visit the concession window for a free giveaway. Fishing poles are also available to rent for free courtesy of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. State fishing rules and regulations apply. Fee: Free!

No registration is required.
Monee Reservoir is an accessible facility. Shoreline fishing takes place on concrete walkways or natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
