Our Mission & History
For the past three years, The Broad Center has been committed to uplifting historically marginalized communities across Brooklyn, establishing itself as a key resource and vital asset to the members we serve. Our mission is to address and alleviate the systemic disadvantages faced by individuals who encounter challenges such as housing instability, food insecurity, mental health struggles, addiction, financial hardship, unemployment, and limited access to education and social mobility. We aim to create lasting impact by providing resources and support to help individuals navigate these barriers and transition into more stable, fulfilling futures. Through comprehensive services, community partnerships, and a focus on long-term solutions, The Broad Center strives to empower those we serve, promoting both personal and systemic progress.

To continue and expand this work, we need your support. Donations will directly fund essential initiatives, including the purchase of supplies for our daily workshops, which foster creativity and provide therapeutic outlets for expression. Additionally, contributions will help us provide healthy meals, and snacks to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Your generosity will also cover the costs of community trips that help broaden horizons and create new opportunities for our members. Furthermore, we will use these funds to purchase essential items and other daily necessities that many of our members lack. Every dollar donated will go towards creating a stronger, more resilient community, and supporting individuals in their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency.
