This full-day adventure invites you to experience railroading the way it used to be, inside fully restored vintage railcars that have been carefully preserved by the Austin Steam Train Association and its dedicated volunteers.Guests are invited to walk through the train, enjoy refreshments and souvenirs from the concession car, and appreciate the details that bring this rolling museum to life. A two-hour layover in Burnet offers time to explore the historic town square, share lunch, or visit Wedding Oak Winery before reboarding for the afternoon ride home.
As the locomotive eases the train back toward Cedar Park, you’ll find yourself settling into that familiar rhythm—the sound of the rails, the shared conversations, and the feeling of being part of something special.
