In a world that constantly asks Black mothers and caretakers to be the hyper-resilient anchors for everyone else—to over-function, hold the weight, and carry the collective urgency—where do you go to lay your armor down?

Mothering the Mother is your monthly residency at Flourish. This is a sacred, intentional 60-minute somatic oasis designed strictly for Black mothers and caretakers to step out of the role of the giver and into the seat of the receiver. This is a room where you do not have to be strong. You do not have to perform. You just get to be held.

The Sanctuary Experience:

• The Botanical Altar: We begin with a curated sensory tasting of warm, hand-blended herbs. Featuring nourishing oat straw to knit the nervous system together, heart-opening rose, and a quiet whisper of motherwort to soothe anxiety, this blend is crafted to ground your body and warm the pelvic bowl.
• Heart-to-Womb Reiki: Step into a collective energetic ritual led by an initiated Reiki Master since 2018. This gentle, potent energy work is curated to dissolve guardedness, ease intimacy wounds, and restore deep inner trust.
• Sacred Sisterhood: Close the container with a single Womb Oracle card pull and an intimate, confidential space to exhale among sisters who truly understand the depth of the weight you carry.

To protect the intimacy of the Reiki container, ensure the room stays completely safe, and allow for a potent, un-rushed experience, this circle is strictly capped at 10 participants. Once the seats are filled, registration will close until next month.
