Mark your calendars for our 3rd annual Mother-Son Nature Day! Join the Adair County Family YMCA and the Missouri Department of Conservation for a fun filled day! Who: Boys of all ages through 6th grade along with their mother or female-role model.
Admission: $5 per couple with $2 per additional child | $10 cap
*No RSVP needed, pay at upon arrival
When: 2:00PM-5:00PM on November 9th, 2025

-Archery
-Face painting
-Crafts
-Photo booth
-Marshmallow Roast, popcorn, and lemonade
-3 legged race at 3:30PM
-Bouquet Bar provided by The Blossom Shop

*All activities are free after paying admission fee.
Directions: From Kirksville, take Business Highway 63 south 0.50 mile, then take Highway 11 west 1.70 miles, then take Route H north 1.70 miles, and take Rainbow Basin Trail west until you reach parking at the end. There will be an admission booth at the entrance of the trail that leads to the event.
Event is hosted by the Adair County Family YMCA and the Missouri Department of Conservation, sponsored by the Heartland Task Force with in-kind support from the Blossom Shop and Preferred Family Healthcare
Proceeds will benefit the YMCA Food Program that provides snacks and meals to those in need.
