I’ve had enough. Have you?
IMPORTANT: The spots are limited, please make sure to reserve yours through Meetup: meetup.com/miitti1/events
Join a supportive & playful group of mothers who will gather with the intention to show up fully in our experience, without judgment, advice or expectations to be a certain way. Time to exhale!
Mother Circle will be medicinal, especially if you lack emotional support in your life.
Welcome no matter the age of your kids, or your background.
We will meet 6 times, once per week.
Please commit to the entire period as that helps to build and sustain trust within the group.
If you say YES, all you’ll have to do each time is come just as you are.
You can be full of anger, sadness, or ecstatic joy- all will be accepted and held with love.
Format:
We will utilize “circle process”: an ancient and universal modality for communal healing, restoration and transformation, grounded in Indigenous Wisdom. In this protocol there is no open conversation. Instead, everyone is given equal opportunity to talk, and- there is no pressure to share. You will have agency over your level of participation in the group.
Our gatherings will include: speaking, body focused practices, and mindfulness.
To honor the ceremonial character of circle process we will sit around a “centerpiece” including a candle, fresh flowers, and a few objects representing intentions for our gatherings.
Confidentiality:
What is shared in the circle, stays in the circle
Dress comfortably:
Please bring clothes that allow you to sit on a pillow or a mat, and that make you feel good
Space limit:
The number of participants is limited to 6 (including the circle keeper), so make sure to reserve a spot. The group will be closed once the spots are filled

ABOUT THE HOST:
I’m Kasia (she/her), a mama of two boys, a circle process facilitator, and a somatic (=body-driven) activist, who focuses, in all those roles, on an inner-outer approach to social transformation (aka change yourself to change the world).
Mothering and moving homes every few years made me intimate with loss, but also resilient and adaptive. I love helping mothers reconnect with joy, power, and pleasure- which has been my own path (a crooked one for sure). I don’t shy away from the hard shit, and I also uplift and disrupt, with authenticity, presence, and a dose of mischief.
I was introduced to the power of circles by Poonam Raj Singh- my dear friend, peer mentor, and a badass mother and changemaker based in California. We facilitate online spaces together and we are both committed to our own growth and to helping others transform.
I’m the creator and facilitator of dance church: a virtual container for free movement with joy and connection (you’re welcome to join in, even if you don’t sign up Mother Circle!)
My teachers and inspirations include: Poonam Raj Singh, adrienne maree brown, Resmaa Menakem, Preston Hemphill, Kimberly Ann Johnson, Black activism & Black culture. In my inner-outer work I focus on: radical joy, grief, embodied anti-racism, decolonization, pleasure, and healthy aggression.
