Moth Night at the Joe Ford Nature Center
Join us for a fascinating summer evening exploring the world of moths at Joe Ford Nature Center!
Meet us at 8PM, with the program beginning shortly after sunset, as we welcome Kevin—known for his page All Bugs Go to Kevin—for an exciting night all about moths.
We’ll learn about the incredible diversity of moths found in Kentucky, why they’re important to our ecosystems, and how scientists and nature lovers attract and identify them after dark. Then we’ll head outside to see what nighttime visitors we can discover together.
Whether you’re already a bug enthusiast or simply curious about what comes out after sunset, this is a fun and unique chance to experience the Nature Center in a whole new way.
