Where: Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area; 6284 N. SH 155 Gilmer, TX 75645 ~ 4.5 hrs. from HTX
When: Saturday September 12th @ Noon
Costs: Park Fee: $30, Offroad sticker: $10, Passenger: $5 Tip: $5-$20 Guides supplied to us by the park are unpaid volunteers.
Duration: typically 4-6hrs
Helpful items to have: walkie talkies, traction boards, cooler with drinks and snacks.
Misc: This is a one size fits all event. No lift or offroad experience needed. It’s an open park; you are welcome to arrive sooner and run trails yourself as well as stay as long as you please. Some may split off into a smaller group to drive more technical courses. The main focus is having fun and being safe. Our goal is for you to leave with: confidence to use your 4x4 in different situations, new friends, interesting stories, and plenty of pictures from our professional photo team.
