Mosque Open Day & Jesus Exhibition

Assalam o Alaikum (Peace be with you) and Hello,

Following on from last few year’s hugely successful events, The Islamic Society of Gloucester is delighted to invite you to this year’s Mosque Open Day & Jesus (Peace be Upon Him) Exhibition on Sunday 7th December 2025 from 1100 until 1600 at Islamic Society Of Gloucester 199-205 Barton Street Gloucester GL1 4HY.


Since our establishment in March 2023, our Mosque and Community Centre is open to everyone who wishes to come and visit us and find out more about our services and Islam. However, we would like to invite you, your families, neighbors, work colleagues, from all ethnic and religious backgrounds to this special exhibition all about the importance of Jesus in Islam (peace be upon him).

The purpose of this exhibition and open day is to provide an opportunity for everyone from all backgrounds to visit our Mosque, ask questions and familiarise themselves with our religious beliefs regarding one of our greatest Prophets.

Refreshments

Free light refreshments will be available. (please ask about food suitability if you have any allergies). 


Suitability

Men, women, and children are welcome, however anyone younger than secondary school age should be accompanied by an adult.

Dress Code

Any modest clothing should be fine.

We expect all attendees to respect our place of worship and our values eg we would appreciate no handshaking between the two genders etc.


Entrance & Exit

Through the main door at 199 - 205 Barton Street Gloucester GL1 4HY.

Car Parking

Please Park in an appropriate way at designated parking spaces in the locality. Please respect the comfort of our neighbours. Please do not park at the rear of our building. Vauxhall Road car park is 1 minute walk from our main entrance and it's a pay and display car park. There is free parking for 20 minutes and £1 per hour.
