Everyone’s heard of the month of Ramadan. No eating or drinking from dawn to sunset. But in the last ten nights comes the holiest of all, the Night of Destiny. Many Muslims believe it may fall on the 27th, when a single prayer equals a lifetime of worship, and your destiny can be altered through prayer and good deeds. Not exactly the night you’d choose to do something unforgivable.
But when Regina caterer Kareema is given 48 hours to come up with a million dollars in ransom money to save her husband from a ruthless loan shark, she runs out of options. So Kareema assembles a crack team of Mosqueteers. An uptight psychiatrist. A well-meaning tech nerd. And her own cynical daughter. Together, on the most sacred night of the year, Kareema is planning a heist. At the mosque.
