Mosaic Workshop: Side/Cafe Tables
About this Event
Mosaic materials are included in this small, hands-on workshop taught by mosaic artist Vicky Foxworth in her Culver City/Ladera Heights studio (Foxworthstudio.com). Class size is limited to six. You will learn design and assembly step-by-step, and come away with your own, unique side or cafe table for indoors, yard, or patio. Vicky will be joined by her assitant and friend, Jose Reyes, formerly a mason and a wonderful mosaic artist.
Bring your own side or cafe table; tabletop. A 24-inch square or circle is perfect! If your art piece/table is intended for use outdoors, make sure the accompanying base can stand up to the elements.
The workshop is a 3-day intensive (18 hours total!), and 1 ticket covers all 3 days. With the exception of the table itself, all mosaic materials with two instructors are included. (No materials fee! No ticket fees!) If you want to leave with a finished piece you need to attend all 3 days.

Vicky's covered outdoor studio is well stocked with fun and interesting materials, including recycled ceramics, glass, tiles, figurines and jewelry. But if you have any flat porcelain, glass, tile, or resin pieces you'd like to bring , we can certainly try to incorporate them into your design. Come mosaic with us!
Cancellations: Refund requests are reviewed manually. Cancellations made more than 7 days before Nov 18 may be eligible for full or partial refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the event are not eligible, as spots are limited and cannot be easily refilled.
The Instructor:
Vicky Foxworth is a lifelong artist with more than 15 years of experience creating mosaics. Her love for creating art was inspired by a whimsical English aunt and a handsome Aussie boyfriend artist she met in her early 20s. It is her joy to provoke wonder in large and small spaces alike, and to share that passion for creative expression.
Vicky has learned techniques and approaches through multiple workshops, partnering with other mosaic artists, and of course, experimentation. She established a methodology and passion for telling stories through mosaic art.
