About this Event
Join the National Council of Churches of Christ in the USA (NCC), the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership at Morehouse College, and Morehouse College on February 26, 2026, at the Morehouse College for a special screening of Faith on the Frontline. This mini-documentary highlights NCC’s 75 years of shared ecumenical witness for justice, peace, and moral leadership.
The film features former NCC president Ambassador Andrew Young and current president and general secretary Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie, highlighting the enduring role of Black faith leadership in shaping movements for justice in the United States.
“We felt it appropriate to close Black History Month with this remarkable collection of stories that can be found in no other repository,” said Bishop McKenzie, the first Black woman to hold the top position at NCC.
This screening marks the launch of Faith on the Frontline, the first documentary of NCC’s MOSAIC Storytelling Initiative—a five-year project made possible by the Lilly Endowment to build a national repository of up to 500 stories of faith, justice, and unity across the United States.
Following the screening, attendees are invited to join NCC for a living history conversation and Q&A with the Ambassador Young and Bishop Murphy McKenzie . Please join us for reception at 5:30.

Please be sure to register by Feburary 20th at 5 PM.
