MOSAIC COURSE

Every Monday. 1-3pm, at the Christ Church Roath Park, Lake Road North, Cardiff, CF23 5QN.

The venue has its own car park.

Learn all about the basic techniques, tools & materials, as you work on your own mosaic projects. We have plenty of design ideas that you can work from or adapt to your own ideas.

These informative sessions are suitable for beginners or improvers.

Please note that one session is not enough to finish a mosaic. To create a quality mosaic will require several sessions.

The course is run by Barry Akins an experienced potter, sculptor and teacher.

He has run courses for many years, was the Potter of St Fagans, is an instructor for Cardiff council and has organised one-off events at various schools, hospitals and community centres. Samples of his mosaics can be found across Cardiff and in many schools.

You will be given loads of inspiration, ideas and expert tuition, as participant numbers are kept small.

The fee includes all basic materials and tools.

Alternatively, a block of five consecutive sessions can be booked for £62.50 (only £12.50 a session.) Book these directly with Barry.
