Ever broken a plate and wondered how you could turn it into a work of art?
Join Elena from Mosaics by Elena, to create a truly whimsical mosaic Christmas ornament. Learn how to apply a piece of dinner plate, cup or saucer onto a wooden shape and compliment it with an array of pre cut glass and ceramic tile. Select a base from different wooden shapes like stars, baubles, candles, candy canes, bells and more. Create a truly unique decorative ornament. Light enough to hang on a pine tree, or perfect for hanging alone with a beaded string. Makes a great gift! All participants will receive a take-home grouting kit to complete their mosaics at their own time.
Elena Martoglio has been creating mosaic art for over a decade. Her love of finding glass and ceramic objects began from traveling to different beaches and collecting found items. Developing her skills in mosaic art, Elena has decorated community centres, kitchen backsplashes, home floors, and cracked sidewalks. Elena enjoys sharing her love of mosaic art with communities across the world. She is excited to share this opportunity with you to create something truly special for the Holiday season.
