Registration is FREE and open to all. Priority will be given to those active in climate work from most impacted communities.
Join the Human Impacts Institute for guided walks near Pier 57 which invite participants to engage with climate action through a range of creative and strategic lenses, each walk offers a unique pathway into understanding and shaping change. Together, they create space for reflection, dialogue, and collective imagination around how we dismantle harmful systems and actively build more just and regenerative futures.
Walk 1 – Deprogramming by Design: This walk looks at how design shapes perception and behavior, and how creative interventions can help deprogram harmful systems and assumptions.
Walk 2 – Legal Tools for Climate Action: This walk explores how legal frameworks and advocacy tools can support climate action, accountability, and systemic change.
Walk 3 – If Words Could Change the World: This walk invites participants to reflect on the power of language, narrative, and storytelling to shift how people understand and respond to the climate crisis.
Walk 4 – Beautiful Disruptions: This walk highlights creative disruption as a strategy for challenging the status quo and imagining more hopeful futures.
Walk 5 – Mobilising for the Future: This walk focuses on youth-led organizing, collective power, and the role of movement-building in shaping the future.
