Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens – meet outside the café

Description:
This month we’re swapping our usual café catch-up for a slow morning walk at the Botanic Gardens fresh air, good company, and maybe a coffee if the kids allow it.
It’ll be cooler by May, so it’s the perfect time to rug up, get outside, and stretch the legs while the kids explore.
No pressure to keep pace or stay long, just walk, chat, and take a breather from the week.
After the walk, we’ll stop back at the Botanic Gardens Café for a coffee or bite to eat.
What to know:
Meet outside the café at 10:00 AM
Bring prams, scooters, or just yourselves, the path is flat and easy
Pack water, hats, and snacks for the kids
Café has good food, coffee, and plenty of outdoor seating
No RSVP needed, just come if it feels like a good day for it
Look for:
A group of mums gathered near the café with prams and kids in tow. I’ll be wearing my pink Mackay Mums Circle shirt, and we’ll start walking shortly after 10.
