Morning teas at the Watchman House are open to locals and visitors from further afield on the first Saturday of the month from February to December.
Volunteers will be on hand to guide families or groups through the house, sharing its stories as well as those of other local landmarks, including Winns Bakehouse, the Shepley House, Craiglee and the former Government Experimental Orchard.
Located adjacent to the Sturt River Linear Park and the Winns Road intersection, the Watchman House is a disability friendly venue.
Delicious, homemade morning teas are on offer for $5pp. The welcome mat and, for four legged visitors, a refreshing bowl of water will be on the verandah.
Lovers of Coromandel Marmalade and Hills Honey are welcome to call in to restock their pantries.
