Gonzales Beach Park, Victoria (1809 Crescent Road)
Dance outdoors to soul-stirring, body-moving music transmitted through wireless silent dance headphones (provided). Sessions are DJ-led by Anne Marie Hogya, with light facilitation in the 5Rhythms™ movement practice: invitations to help you loosen up, follow your instincts, and find your own way of moving.
No experience needed. Just show up.
$20 – Pre-register on Eventbrite or via e-transfer to [email protected] to hold your spot, you can also drop in.
What to Expect
The 5Rhythms is a dynamic, body-based movement practice that sparks creativity, connection, and community. Created by Gabrielle Roth, the 5Rhythms—Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, Stillness®—are states of being that reconnect us to our wild, instinctive, and deeply human selves. This is transformational embodiment medicine—set to music, danced by the sea.
City of Victoria Outdoor Commercial Use Permit in place for all sessions.

About Anne Marie
Anne Marie is a DJ, accredited 5Rhythms® movement teacher (Waves & Heartbeat), and occupational therapist. She’s been immersed in this practice since 1999. With a master’s degree in leadership and adult learning, Anne Marie is known for her grounded presence, bold creativity, and compassionate facilitation. Her offerings blend practical support with wild, somatic intelligence.
