Bird Walk in the Parklands, presented in partnership with the Baird Ornithological Club and Borough of Wyomissing Parks and Recreation Department.
There’s a whole lot happening along the Wyomissing Creek before most of us have finished our first cup of coffee. Join us on Saturday, September 5 at 8:00 AM for a morning Bird Walk, With the creek, open meadows and wooded areas all coming together in one place, the Parklands are home to an incredible variety of birds. Keep an eye—and an ear—out for Baltimore Orioles, Great Crested Flycatchers, Belted Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, Eastern Bluebirds and plenty more along the way.
The walk will follow the level gravel and paved paths along the creek, and birders of all experience levels are welcome. Bring your binoculars, comfortable shoes and see what’s waking up in the Parklands. For more info contact Lucy Cairns at: [email protected]
