Morning Beat has become an iconic part of Oslo’s morning scene – a sober rave experience that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to dance and connect before the workday begins.
Now, we invite you to a very special edition: a celebration of Gyldendal Norsk Forlag’s Centenary - for FREE!
Gyldendal Norsk Forlag was founded in 1925, when Norwegian author rights were bought back from the Danish publisher Gyldendal in Copenhagen. Today, it is Norway’s largest publishing house – and in 2025, we mark a full century of literature, culture, and creative joy.
The Gyldendal House, designed by Sverre Fehn, is in itself a story of continuity and renewal. The magnificent Ibsen Hall sets the stage for this unique celebration.
