Mormon Tabernacle Watch Party
About this Event
One of the oldest and largest choirs in the world, The Tabernacle Choir has performed before presidents, sold millions of records, won scores of awards, and enthralled audiences in more than 28 different countries. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Choir is composed of volunteer singers who are faithful members of the Church.
A century after its first appearance at the Hollywood Bowl in 1926, The Tabernacle Choir returns in June to one of the world’s most iconic stages for a special benefit concert uniting breathtaking music with humanitarian purpose.
Featuring guest artists Donny Osmond, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Stephanie J. Block, and Sebastian Arcelus, the evening will celebrate finding hope through music.
100% of the concert’s ticket revenue will be matched by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to fund critical global needs including immunization efforts, literacy programs, and maternal and newborn care.
Local members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will celebrate this historic event with a community watch party held at their Nashua meetinghouse on Friday, June 26th from 6-9pm. The event will include a livestream of the 120-minute concert, light refreshments, and an opportunity to socialize with friends, neighbors, and fellow music enthusiasts.
The watch party is free and open to the public. Organizers hope that the event will foster a spirit of community and unity, and a chance to find common ground amongst friends and neighbors through the universal language of music.
Doors will open at 6 PM for socializing and light refreshments. The concert runs from 7-9 PM with no intermission.
Attendees are invited to participate in the humanitarian mission of the concert by bringing a food item to donate to the Greater Nashua Community Food Drive.
