🎶 What if, for one day, everything stopped—and we all just listened to the music? 🎶
It’s such a simple idea: head outside and let music fill the air! Whether you’re jamming with friends, playing solo, or just soaking it all in, Play Music on the Porch Day is your chance to make the day as big or as laid-back as you like. Not a musician? No problem—just come out, walk around town, and enjoy the music happening on porches, lawns, and sidewalks all across Morganton.
This year marks Morganton’s 4th annual celebration of this global event!
Last year, we had over 50 musicians on 15 porches across town—joining thousands more on more than 1,000 porches in 70 countries around the world.
(Play Music on the Porch Day happens every year on the last Saturday in August.)
