All welcome! Whether it is your first time out with the club or you were a part of the AUWSC 20 years ago, we would love to have you out with us to officially re-open the shack doors.
Skiing, campfire, games and general festivities. We will head up late Friday night and pack up after lunch Sunday.
We will do communal food so please let us know in the registration link about which meals you'll be joining for and we will include you in the food shopping.
The shack has beds for 19 people and plenty of space for camping on the lawn also! Please let us know in the registration if you would prefer to camp or need a bed in the shack.

Membership Details:
To join us out on a ski day or ski weekend, you need to be a member of the Adelaide Uni Water Ski Club (AUWSC), as well as Adelaide Uni Sport (AU Sport). Adelaide University students get free membership with AU Sport, so you only pay the club membership amount. People, who are not Adelaide University students, are also welcome to join but must pay an additional membership fee to AU Sport (which provides insurance cover under the AU Sport insurance policy).
The AUWSC runs on an online and cash system where fees are paid at the end of each day. Please bring sufficient cash to cover the costs of a weekend. On a typical day trip, you can expect to have two to four rides. On long weekends, it's not uncommon for people to have 10 to 15 rides! There are three sets of fees that are to be paid when skiing with the AUWSC:
Membership (to be paid online BEFORE the event. Click 'Join Now/ Renew')
Ski Fee (to be paid on the day - bring cash)
Site Fee (to be paid on the day - bring cash)
Membership
We offer either Annual membership or Day membership as outlined below:
Full Membership: $20
Plus AU Sport Membership
- AU Students: Free
- University Members (Alumni, students from other Universities, UofA Staff): $88
- Associate Members (non AU students): $88
The AU Sport fee is waived if you've already joined another AU Sport club and paid the fee. It is valid for 12 months.
Trial Membership: $5 - Purchased from the bottom of the home page or click here
Plus AU Sport Membership
- AU Students: Free
- University Members (Alumni, students from other Universities, UofA Staff): $22
- Associate Memebers (non AU students): $22
The AU Sport fee is waived if you've already joined another AU Sport club and paid the fee. It is valid for 12 months.
A limit of one Come and Try Membership is allowed during a 12 month period. On the second visit, the remaining $15 of the Full Membership and $66 AU Sport Membership (if applicable) must be paid. A Come and Try Membership is valid for three full days, eg you only pay $5 for a long weekend at Morgan!
Ski Prices
When you come out with us on a ski day (or ski weekend), the costs will include a Site Fee plus the cost of your skiing for the day / weekend. These are explained below:
Skis: $1.25 per minute of skiing
Note on a busy weekend we like to keep the skiing to under 10 minutes at a time to share the river around
Ski Card: $65
Good for 60 minutes of skiing and can be used over multiple events. $10 saving off regular ski prices.
Site Fee
The site fee covers the use of the facilities, whether it’s at Morgan or a Day Trip to White Sands.
Site Fee (Whitesands): $10
Site Fee (Morgan): $15
Site Fee is required when:
You stay overnight at Club Morgan,
Ride behind a club boat
Use club equipment.
A reduced site fee of $3 applies to those who come to White Sands but do not ski.
