MORFOSIS | Opening Night
OPEN Center for the Arts and NODO Centro Cultural in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, invite you to the opening of MORFOSIS, a binational exhibition bringing together artists across borders to reflect on change and the ways it shapes us, both individually and collectively.
Over the past year and a half, our lives and surroundings have continued to shift. Some changes arrive by choice, others by circumstance. Some ask us to let go, while others reveal what we want to hold onto. MORFOSIS creates space for artists to explore these experiences through visual art, writing, and video, drawing on personal and collective stories of transition, uncertainty, loss, resilience, cultural memory, environmental change, and visions of the future.
Developed in collaboration with our compañeros at NODO Centro Cultural in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, this exhibition brings together creative perspectives across geographies, making room for the experiences we share and the different ways we understand the changes around us.
What has changed? What are you carrying forward? What are you becoming?
Join us at OPEN for an evening with artists and community members to celebrate the opening of MORFOSIS and spend time with the work.
