This workshop breaks down the unglamorous but essential side of building a sustainable, long-term music career, covering tax, ABN's, EPK's, professionalism, getting gigs, applying for festivals and grants, and making sure you’re actually paid properly.
Playing for “exposure” only gets you so far; real careers require real income. The session also explores how good financial habits, clear systems, and being industry-savvy support physical and mental wellbeing — and are key to longevity in the music industry.
Practical, honest, and immediately useful, this workshop, led by critically acclaimed international vocalist, composer and musician Lillian Albazi, is for musicians who want their careers to work as hard as they do in the practice room — no fluff, no “exposure”, no payment in meals, just real-world tools.
