More than Sad

About this Event

Join us at Brightpoint Community College in Chester for More Than Sad, a suicide prevention education program from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

Designed for teens and their parents, caregivers, and other supportive adults, this program helps participants recognize signs of depression and other mental health concerns, understand warning signs that a young person may be struggling, and learn how to begin supportive conversations about mental health. Participants will also learn practical ways to connect with appropriate help and resources.

This informative and approachable program is designed to give families greater confidence in talking about mental health and supporting the young people in their lives.
